O luto nacional pelo falecimento da Rainha Isabel II começou este domingo e termina na terça-feira, dia 20 de setembro.

O decreto foi aprovado pelo Conselho de Ministros, na quinta-feira, e refere que “Sua Majestade a Rainha Isabel II do Reino Unido da Grã-Bretanha e Irlanda do Norte marcou profundamente a segunda metade do século XX e o primeiro quartel do século XXI. Assim, neste momento de prolongado e profundo luto no nosso mais antigo Aliado, entende o Governo declarar o luto nacional nos dias 18, 19 e 20 de setembro de 2022. É uma justa homenagem a sua Majestade a Rainha Isabel II”.
